The project is about developping a website in HTML/CSS for a real estate project. The site is in Arabic, and hence needs to be developped with right-to-left flow, but the developper will not need to understand Arabic since all Arabic text will be entered by us. We will also provide all the design elements (master design, picture, visuals) in the most convenient format for the developper. The developper will need to develop some small variations of the master design for the different pages, and make suggestion on how to further enhance the proposed design, specially on the menus, slideshows and javascript animations. Two sections of the site (the news on the main page, and the FAQ) should be implemented using custom CMS, ideally Joomla. The forms used will be from embeded code from wufoo.com.
Attached is a description of the site functionality (not graphic design) as well as a site-map, to explain the desired work and scope.
The site should work flawlessly on Windows Internet Explorer 7/8, Firefox, Chrome, and Mac Safari, Firefox and Chrome.
The requirement from the developper will be the following:
- Full build-up of HTML/CSS development with very good standarts, that could be easily maintained in the future. All elements will be filled in apart from Arabic text (which is mainly in the text boxes as most titles will be pictures), which will be done by us.
- Optimization of the pictures sizes, and thumbnails.
