Mailchimp - Manual Signup Of Role-based Addresses

I have two mailing lists that I have imported into Mailchimp. However Mailchimp doesn't allow automated subscription of role-based addresses.

This project is to:
1. Extract the role based addresses (525 of them according to Mailchimp) from my mailing list (2839 addresses in an Excel spreadsheet).
2. Manually subscribe the extracted role-based addresses at Mailchimp. This needs to be done one address at a time.

es using internet search engines to identify industry specific directory sites and then accessing these sites to obtain individual email addresses of businesses advertising or listed on these sites. It also involves initiative to source other sites that may appear as alternative sources as searches are completed.The final compiled list of email addresses could possibly total between 1,000 - 2,000.

Mailchimp API .. http://apidocs.mailchimp.com/api/ It looks like you either have to loop around the members looking at group memberships or use the export API.
Both Geckoboard and Mailchimp have free versions to develop on.
