Project is about improving CamCite.com php script (integration of VideoWhisper.com video conferencing application) and involves working with PHP, MySQL, Twitter API, Facebook API.
1. Integrate a Twitter application script that allows users to login with Twitter and automatically send a standard message as mention to people that recently discussed about certain topics. This Twitter application was already built in php and just needs to be integrated:
+ Users can currently connect with Facebook: they will also be able to connect with Twitter. Additionally, a settings page must be added where they select display name from real name and available usernames if they connected with both.
+ Users can currently create new room links (in addition to geographical landing rooms).
This will be done by submitting some topic tags. Example: Online Startup Sites will create room with same name and linked as r/online-startup-sites .
On any room page, users connected with Twitter can access the invite application. The room topic tags will automatically be used as search query for the twitter app. Message sent will also be standard like "Join me now on http://camcite.com/r/online-startup-sites to discuss live about this."
2. Improve Facebook integration.
Users can also invite their friends to join them on chat by posting on their Facebook wall. A checkbox will be enabled for FB users when inviting - "Publish on my wall for my friends to find me in this chat room".
Requrements:
This must be implemented as simple and automated as possible for the users.
The invite interface/info and link should be somewhere under the flash application and not require chat room reload (could open in new page or ajax could be used).
When user invites people to a room with his twitter or facebook account this is saved in a table. Will be used to grant 1 hour moderator status.
A subdomain will be provided to copy site and work on it until ready, as it's currently live for users.

Php/mysql File Upload/download
1 - A script to allow uploading of an image/s and other files from an existing form. The files need to be uploaded to server and the paths need to be recorded in the MySQL db. One MySQL field for each (images and another for files such as .doc etc)They then need to be available for viewing on another page, 2 or 3 in fact. The file also needs to be able to be downloaded.
