Custom Rss Feeds In Wordpress Project
Required skills: XML, Wordpress, Template, RSS Feed, RSS, PHP, Custom
We are looking for someone with wordpress/php/xml knowledge to develop wordpress custom RSS feeds coded like http://yoast.com/custom-rss-feeds-wordpress/ .
WP theme is already done. Essentially, we need the code to paste on a page template and then create new pages through Wordpress dashboard that acts like custom feeds.
RSS feeds requirements:
- Show correctly all standard xml fields (validating on http://validator.w3.org/feed/ ) .
- Get featured image as event image on feed.
- Display events by order of occurrence (upcoming events), not order of publication. We use custom fields to control event date of occurrence.
- Show events of a determined taxonomy in a fashion that changing simple parameter(s) we can build custom feeds for each taxonomy on the project.

Custom RSS feeds
I use Wordpress for a site, and have about 80 RSS feeds. I would like to create a user interface where they can create custom feeds by combining individual feeds and keywords. Here is an example of the interface of another site that does it:

I would also like a user registration and login system where users have to be registered in order to create and edit their feeds.

Wordpress: Add Custom Text Field Subpanel / Document Manager
stom subpanel should be a textbox along with a “Select File” button that opens up a directory listing of the files in a root directory (example: wp-contents/file-library/). The user can either select a file from the server, and it the custom field will be populated by the directory/subdirectory/docname. OR, the user can select a file from their local computer, select the subdirectory (or add one), and it will upload the file and then insert the file url into the custom field.

Embedding Rss Feeds In Site
articular this time around we have some issues with our server config as far as RSS feeds showing up corrupted.
The Feeds display fine on local systems but display code / html tags when viewed on our server.. they were 100% up until when we had to do a server reset do to some missing PHP lib.
Sorry but you MUST use Skype and be able to complete this rather small project fairly quickly. There could be more piece work if this goes well..

In simple words, the RSS CRAWLER script should CRAWL a specific websiite by simply entering the url e.g. http://www.santabanta.com, and the Script should be able to generate a XML (RSS FEED) page just the one in WORDPRESS.
