I need a simple PHP XML parser script that can handle parsing large files (over 20MB) without PHP timeouts and memory issues.
I have looked at XMLReader and other PHP parsers available. I need a script that will parse an XML file and then save the results to a database.
Functions:
- Check to see if post already exists (check post ID number in feed) and if it exists check to see if it is updated (compare the update date field in the feed), if update date is newer than update database otherwise skip.
- Check to see if post category exists, if not create category and then add post to that category.
If this can not be run from the front end it can also be set to be run from a cron job.
This is not to complicated and shouldn't take to long. Please PM questions. Needs to be done today.

It more than likely would need to look at the data as lines as dates may not work like 1,2 is first call 3,4 second call and 4,5 is the third and so on resulting in 1,2,3,4 and 5 all in the xml feed that is being showed so the FLV videos can be imported slower to look nicer =)

Fix php/XML updater scripts - Joomla - URGENT!
r to parse date into the database, we have some of it working but other parts do not work. We need a skilled php/html/css/xml programmer to help us to get this to work. Php Xml Parser Weirdness
3, but when we try to run it on an identically configured (apache, php, modules, ini settings etc) centos 5 php 5 apache 2 system it strips the greater-than and less-than tags and leaves the tag content, thus rendering the output incorrectly. For example $ lt;p$ gt; is rendered as p - this breaks all of the formatting in our feed content.
While we have a dirty workaround we have no idea WHY this happens on this one server. We need to know before proceeding with our migrations.

re where user can register, log in to website and upload a doument. user can view the history of uploaded docs also. at the other end admin can do the same also upload and assign the docs to users. admin can view n download too.

3) Shop Detail information.
And we will need to add several new fields to our MySQL for things like "Receiving Photo Upload URL"

Knowledge of XOOPS would be a plus because our website is built with it, but is not a requirement.

FTP XML Parser for Feeds module in Drupal 6
ide a way to filter the XML articles by category(before they are imported) so that only the articles we are looking for in the XML feed are converted into Drupal Nodes.

ontains URLs for images for each property, these images need to be imported into the "images" folder on our server.

Currently, when I change my category names through zen cart and then update my products the feed is not recognising these catagories and creating new ones in addition.
To an experienced programmer this should be relatively simple.
Please submit your proposals bearing in mind unreasonably expensive quotes will be discounted.

XML parser to process feed item and post in Joomla
Our News Provider put XML feeds directly on the FTP server which then needs processing of xml parser in order to get displayed on the website accordingly. The work should be automated with cronjob. Posts should go to particular category.
