We are running a team management solution using Joomla and want members to be able to login to Google Apps using their Joomla username and password so that when logging in to joomla they are automatically logged into their Google Apps domain.

Ideally we would like to be able to have an html page where the user can then add/edit Google Apps calender events. (integration into joomla not necessary as we can wrap this or have as a popup)

it should also be possible to edit categories. But first of all editing and creating news and pages as well as placing them in the appropiate menu.

It is up to the programmer to decide whether he will be developing for Joomla or for Drupal, as I can use both.

I don't know how to solve this, perhaps by using the google App Engine.

have (badly) set up Google Apps with this. I also have a gmail account. What I want to do is properly set up my Google apps so that I can use my custom domain for email/calendar and also have it work seamlessly with my gmail account.

So, for instance, have emails to my custom domain and gmail go to the same inbox, same calendar etc. And create an account for my assistant.

And all this without losing any emails of course!
