Required skills: Directory, Database, Code
I need a directory database designed and also the code for the website that retrieves the information that's needed. The information displayed will be based on tags, similar to the ones on the front page of scriptlance.
Database will need to hold the following information...
main directory categories
sub-directory categories
link keyword (could be multiple words), associated url, email address type of listing (h, c, n), tag number (this can be a number from 0 to 9) and what category and sub-category they are in.
I may have missed something obvious, so please let me know if I have.
The home page will have a tag box similar to the one on scriptlance home page, but it will stretch across the top of the page and will have tags for each main category of the directory. clicking on the tags will take you to the page for that category. Below that will be another box of tags. These will be for people that have paid to be on the home page (listing type h). This will basically be the keywords, and clicking on them should go directly to the associated url. These tag sizes should be in proportion to the associated number. A 9 should have a bigger font than an 8, etc. The categorytags should also have the number of listing under that category in brackets e.g. business (187).
The category page will be as above, but will be for each category. Top box will have sub-categories and there will be paid tags below it (listing type c). Everything else as above.
Sub-category page will be as above, but will just have the tags for that sub-category.
There should also be an admin page to add the above details. Only I and a few others will have access to this, although it may be made public for free links. So needs to have username/password for a few admin people.
I will get the website designed separately once this work is finished, so for you to demonstrate that the database and website code works properly you can just show on a basic plain website. No need for headers or anything like that. I just need to be able to add
some categories and links and see that everything works properly.
I need this built so that the DB is capabale of holding 10,000 entries.
If anything isn't clear let me know.
You can use any existing code you have and adapt it if needed.
I need a very robust solution. Payment will be subject to completion of a working db and website code.
Please don't bid unless you are capable of building and installing on my server and proving that this works. This needs to be done in a timely manner.

Set Up Database and Website
nline after many years. The website will be very simple only about 5 pages. I need the database to be a dropdown list which shows every state in the U.S. Very similiar to the website found at http://www.universitytutor.com check out the site basically it would be a copy of that just a different service being offered. Thank you for your help and hope to hear from you soon. I also have hosting with godaddy if you need to know that as well.

I have a website that I manage for a client. It is an online database for a club that is run on Filemaker Pro database. I need to make some adjustments to the fields in the database and with the reports as well that are generated according the changes made to the fields. I need this done as soon as possible. The administration for this database is online through a secure area but of course this type of thing is not.
