Blog Migration To Wordpress

Would you still be interested in site migration to wordpress ? Existing PHP and MySQL site, city guide in 3 languages with user reviews, photos, YouTube videos, banner management and mailing. Main issue is database migration, while maintaining mother-child relationships island, city - venues-area, etc.

It seems easy enough to import the text, but Squarespace seems to put a code onto the end of every image URL, which has to be manually removed.

I am hoping there is an easier (quicker) way to do it. Maybe using XML?

After initially starting a website 5 years ago I started it in Joomla, and after having it upgraded from 1.1 to 1.7 it has been a disaster I want to have this website playorgambleonline.com converted including the blog to wordpress same design everything as much as possible.

There is also a Mosets Tree Directory with about 1200 entries. This can be migrated to the wordpress site, or to a separate installation of edirectory 7.5 which we already have.

Because of a security vulnerability with Mosets Tree, we don't wish to share the site url until a bidder has been selected.

Layout of existing blog should look exactly the same. I need URLs of archived posts to also remain the same (search engine purposes)

The project is to create a WP "skin" using already existing PSD files.

After you have created the skin, we can use the WP blog with the functions of WP blog, but the look comes from the PSD files we'll give to you.

URLA's (Wordpress as a unique URL rewrite for all the posts, while some of them would need to be pointed to an specific directory while sharing the same content category). Also, there are specific fields on Bitrix CMS (for the image and video of each article for instance), which should be taken care from one system to the other. Regarding the site public design templates, I will do it myself, unless there is some kind of special code involved from the migration.

Planning to migrate www.erikson.edu CMS to Wordpress from the proprietary .NET framework it's on. I plan to lead the project, but I'll definitely need a good Wordpress theme developer I can go to for the heavy lifting.

Also, at this point we're not really looking to do any design changes, so this is really about the CMS and back end.

To successfully complete this you would need to analyze existing website running Xzero and migrate all existing data to a new wordpress site. For data that does not exist, for example, user accounts, all exists posts would be attributed to admin user in wordpress.
