(TASK 1)
Use a decision structure to complete the shell script. The script will accept 3 grades, calculate an average and display a letter grade based upon the average. You will need to use either the “if” statement and/or the “case” statement to implement this script. I will verify that each pseudo step is addressed by executing your script/program.
1. Create a shell script in your home directory.
2. Convert the pseudocode below into a script.
3. Save the script.
4. Execute the script and input the 3 grades when prompted.
5. Provide script and captured output for assignment.

1. Read in 3 grades from the keyboard
2. Average the grades
3. Display the appropriate letter grade for the number grade using this scale:
• 90 to 100: Display a grade of “A”
• 80 to 89: Display a grade of “B”
• 70 to 79: Display a grade of “C”
• 65 to 69: Display a grade of “D”
• 0 to 64: Display a grade of “F”

Unix Shell script to call sqlldr
tl files example - LoadConversionData DEV01 - call sqlldr for customer,facility and all the available ctl files one by one). This folder will have several ctl and txt files. As written earlier, ctl file name data file name (txt) will be same.

I need someone to write a shell script or equivalent that performs an HTTP web request every 30 seconds. This script needs to load when the linux server boots. This should be a simple task.

I also need an email that sends the results of the svn status command and put it in the body of the message.
This email should also include the changes text file as an attachment. This email should also be sent out at 10am once a day.
I should be able to choose upto 5 email addresses to send this email to.

I am looking for a shell script that will be executed form my website, mysite.com for example mystie.com/script/
What this will do is the following.
on a specified folder
it will cp -rf --reply=yes (or you would know the best command, i think --reply=yes has been decapiteated) all the directories from this folder to another folder, this will be a restore feature.
other competent bidders may bid.

Create Simple Shell Script (Ubuntu)
3.1 modules built by dotdeb.org (http://www.dotdeb.org/). However, if there as an alternative for configuring and installing latest PHP tat can be put in the script, please let me know.
All should be done in a clean install of Ubuntu 8.04 (but if possible should work on future versions as well). The end result is that nginx will be installed with PHP 5.3.1 enabled.
This should be relatively easy for an experienced shell script developer.

I have a fully-functional instance of Sun Identity Manager (IDM) 8.1 running on my server.
I am trying to configure a Shell Script Resource on this IDM.
As any IDM expert would know, the Shell Script Resource connects directly to a Unix-based database.
Therefore, a deep knowledge of UNIX is required. Mainly for the purpose of customizing and creating the actual SCRIPTS which will run on the database.
