See attached. It is an example of an asterisk delimited text file. The file contains the Year/month it belongs to in YYYY_MM format. The YYYY_MM may not fall that the same position in the name. Following needs to be done by the code.
1. If there is a fourth column in the file do nothing(EXIT) Otherwise follow the steps below.
2. Search for the YYYY_MM in the name (Look for it starting with "20")
3. Trim the underscore i.e. make it YYYYMM
4. Add it to all the records the in the file as the fourth column so e.g. for this file the end-result would be as below;
W2345*INCFVG*234,567*200907
F9402*KNCKSD*384,432*200907
J2849*GHNCNF*37,294*200907
L3475*FBCNSK*3,234,223*200907
B2995*VVFGRD*34,294*200907
S5475*VVGHNG*38,485*200907
5. Overwriting the file is fine.
6. I need the Java code and the exe both to make minor edits myself later.

PHP export MySQL query to text file

Java code to export player info to remote SQL DB

Please note what you are doing and know about using JDBC and how to make it send the SQL code to a remote server and be able to handle multiple proccesses at once aka an upward of 100 exports a minute without causing the players in the game to lag. This should be fairly simple as the code is already built and functioning it just needs to be tweaked.
