We are a website development company and want to outsource the design work on selected projects. I will outline the general requirements for what we need to get estimated cost and time. We will start with one project and with good work engage for other jobs.
1) Custom design work is required. If you have or find a template that meets the design outline that's fine. However, expect to do custom changes.
2) We need the initial design concept for a home page. This means what you give us we may have adjustments that we need done.
3) You will be required to provide the PSD file and a JPEG version as part of the project completion.
Details:
A home page design taking into consideration these items:
- the logo colours (as seen from unaidscaribbean dot org ) must be retained in the website's design
- a large animated area to highlight top stories that will accommodate text over each image and a linked to the story;
- an area for about 10 categories. These will be fixed categories with a category introduction. When the use clicks on a category a list of the articles within that category will be displayed. Associated with this area another area with 6 items. You need to get / design an icon / image for each of these 16 items, we will provide guidance if required;
- area: data and statistics which will be an image or a graph and a link for the user to click on to view an article providing data and
statistics details;
- area: job and training opportunities;
- area: from the director, the latest article from the director;
- calender, a small version of a grid calender design which displays
items for a day on mouse over the day by the user
- technical support;
- area: latest news and events
- area: Publications
- area: UNAIDS Team
- area: a area to allow users to share information using social
networking websites, like facebook
- subscribe, that will allow users to subscribe to a newsletter
Work Time:
You must start your hours of work in EST. We work between 6 EST and 4 EST

Home page Design - 3 Visuals - Success without Stress
that brief are mock-up and not final. We would want to use quality, eye-catching stock art (123rd, shutterstock, istockphoto etc). and will pay for the images. (Note: from brief file, the autumn leaves image to change to be a green leaves/ green fields picture on a clear sunny day.)
The final site should have 3 or 4 images which fade from one to the next.
The home page should be clean and uncluttered.

The template can be easily used with wordpress or joomla or other cms
Just home page design is needed initially, Should look very corporate, no funky web layouts. Use of jquery should be maximum.

I need a home page design done for a directory website related to private investigators. The design should be fluid by which I mean that I should be easily able to incorporate it within my code. All sections should be customizable and replaceable with different content without affecting the rest of the page.
The most important section would be the header. I would be expecting atleast 3 samples.
