Downloadable family budgeting executable file from a website requested. Think Mint.com offline.
Database that allows input of limitless number of cash, debt, stock and asset accounts with ability to add earmarked amounts within accounts. Also must be able to enter employment and other income streams.
Ability to create monthly budget based upon default or user entered categories.
Ability to enter transactions into program.
Forecast out-of-debt date, based upon payment sizes and amounts and payment schedule based upon unique methodology of debt reduction.
Database entry for monthly “financial” and “fun” goals and ability to update the progress toward these goals.
Place to enter transactions, transfers between all accounts.
Weekly/monthly report generation to include:
• Report of all active/open accounts and their balances;
• Monthly (current month) budget report;
• Graph of short term cash flow (past 3 months);
• Graph of remaining debt and trend showing out of debt date;
• Graph of non-retirement liquid assets since inception;
• Graph of retirement assets since inception;
• Review of users' progress toward their monthly goals
Database tables must be written be flexible enough so as to be further updated beyond Beta version in the future with limited effort.
Would strongly prefer a programmer with a financial background, who has experience with similar projects. Quality work on this Beta version MAY lead to additional work as additional features are requested by users.

Desktop Software for Budgeting - Excel Based
into a piece of software. It will be a basic budgeting software. I have the excel document and what it needs to do. Basically adding expense and income items at the press of a button, adding new months, creating graphs and reports, etc. I basically need it to be more automated and to look like a piece of stand alone software rather than an excel document.

Currently the information is being entered in twice (once by our producer when doing the budget and again by the accountant when it comes to paying all the invoices). We want to cut this part out.
