Display Map Coordinate/radius

I am putting together a "Find a Store" script that will be pulling results from a database. I have that all working but what I need is a front-end display of a map with the center point for their search and also, if possible, a shaded area with the radius of their search. Both of these points are based on information entered by the user.
The user will enter their zip code. This needs to activate an ajax jquery call to the database which will return the Latitude/Longitude point that will be used for the center point on their search. They will also enter the radius (in miles) that they want to use for their search.
What I would like to have happen is for that starting point to be shown on a map (Google map? other service?) and then a radius area to be shaded based on the radius that they input.
These will need to be done on the page prior to a user submitting their form (ajax) and also should auto-update based on changes to those two fields (zip code, radius).

what to do with. I cannot keep up and ALWAYS need new people on my team but this is URGENT and I need someone who is an EXPERT with Google maps, mySql, and adding Google map functionality.
