Fast Simple Excel Formula
Required skills: Simple, Excel
Please feel free to use--whatever functions,IF or Macro. I need this as soon as possible so I will take whoever completes it by tomorrow 10am as I need it. So email me if you are done even if not chosen. I will choose your bid.
This is very simple, will take you less than 20 minutes to complete.
-Simple excel formula, macro or procedure to help assign "number" (column D) to each new added entry.
Note that:
a) For each new part number added into the list, it is classified by assigning it an ID short.I have the list
But please make accomodation for more entries.
b)Make column B detect duplicates-easy process and highlight cell red.
c)For each added existing part number--it should take the previous assgned number. If it does not exist and is
added to the list, it should take the next number in its ID-short sequence (2,3,4,5......etc). E.G see
battery in example that I did manually.

Simple Excel Formula Needed
All I want it for someone to give me the formula for excell as per image
If cell 2a is the same as 2B then its a 1

simple excel formula
digit number. Since I will need to add the 1 to hundreds of phone numbers each week into the future, I'd rather not do this individually, but instead find out the function that will turn the first column into the same number with a 1 on it. i.e. 214-723-3492 would now be: 1-214-723-3492. I don't think the dashes matter.. Does anyone know the function or can write this function?

but i dont need the text/name replaced but copied without the @*

The source system generating the file sometimes "rounds" by a cent throwing a document out of balance. The macro needs to read the data and, when it finds a document out of balance, balance the debits and credits. Written -- detailed -- specs are available with sample data, logic to apply, and sample results.
