The concept is very simple. This is a global news website that students from all around the world can submit their stories, have them reviewed by senior editors, earn trophies, and get their foot into the door before they join a big news agency [hopefully recruited through our website]
Let's look at the first screenshot – ‘home page'. As you can see all the main stories and feeds are under international. This will be the first page that people see when typing in the URL of the website.

The staff student portal page would need to allow the trophies awarded to students to be added to their student channel page.

We dont know how that websites decides which articles get posted in there...is it a filter, a scarping script, google alerts, rss feeds.... Your bid includes such things as well. Your bid also includes cms/admin panel, a full working site similar to the example site, but with a new design.

I reviewed many Youtube clonescripts and I like the AVS script from Envient Products, because it has a large player, supports HD video conversion and has a Iphone module. Please note our site is not an Adult site. This is a NEWS website that will allow Reporters to upload videos directly to Member page for public viewing.
