Broadcast / Streaming Software
We are looking to build a broadcast/media streaming application
Programmers must be knowledgeable in integrating with Wowza Media Server 2
Software must include the following:
Part One - Access to software
User login -> it works only if you are logged in to the community
Part Two -Broadcasting software
• Platform and language independent
• Users will be able to customize both the broadcaster and video player application (dependent on membership level) otherwise there will be a default watermark in place
• Software service that should require no additional downloads by users or viewers
• Platform requires just a video input from logged in sources (main user can stream & control the broadcast locally but also allow additional users to log in and connect cameras from external sources (from another location) to add additional cameras/audio to the broadcast)
• Users can insert their own brand logo as the watermark in the video stream (dependent on membership level)
• Users can also customize the player skin, buttons, etc. with their own color scheme (dependent on membership level)
• Users have ability to include news ticker overlay that scroll across bottom of screen during live broadcasting (urls should be clickable)
• Users can upload/embed external video files (like YouTube, Vimeo, etc) to be integrated as a clip during the broadcast.
• Users can upload video from their video phones
• Privacy options including: having the stream reside behind an authorized user authentication process; locking the stream to a specific URL; password-protecting the stream; limiting viewing to users with (or without) a specific IP address; limit the maximum number of viewers at a given time; easy to use functionality allows the main user account to control these settings
• If the user has the premium account, they can charge their viewers to watch the stream
• To include chat functionality so that audiences can interact with each other as well as the broadcaster; it also includes the ability to conduct real-time polls as well as co-hosted broadcast feeds
• Broadcasters can choose to have their live broadcasts recorded for future viewing
• Analytics reporting that gives a variety of data and graphical metrics to measure broadcast success

We need to accomplish the same process on a MacOS browser. Ideally, this would be possible from an existing browser. An alternative would be to have an independent software that has the ability to show html/flash content and offer a similar experience.

Flex - Red 5 Developer For Webcam Broadcasting
Guest will also only have 3 minutes of 'view time', they will need to sign in to be able to watch the broadcast more than 3 minutes.
