In General
I need you to design a complete new design for a Startup. Startup means, that when you do a good job, i hopefully will work in the long term with you! I am interested in not changing the Freelancer. The longer we work together, the better we will understand each other.
The Project
A new site for this startup has to be created without using templates! Complete new design, unique, custom. I need a brand, what means, that you will create a logo, the website: the corporate identity, carrying our philosophy of being social, helpful, save. The aim is in that point that following words, that lead to a feeling are important in all the design and the creative work:
Social, Friendly, Happy, Safety, Community, Student, Young, Fresh, Experience, Open Minded, Multicultural, Helpful, EASY, Free, Free of sorrows, Hotel Mama, WE, Group, Fullfilled, Relaxed etc.
What we do: We organize with the help of this site roommates in flats. The difference to all the roommate-websites is, that not a customer puts in his own flat, no. We organize the flats and we organize who will stay in theeir rooms. Students and young professionals can check with a search-filter on the page all the free rooms and ask for renting them. They ask online where they will register and get a Login-Password and username.
After validation of his demand, we will (at the backend) give him a signal if he can move in or not. All these information are saved on the page. And after he is allowed to rent and sign the contract, that he can download on the site, he can pay online or in different ways the caution and rent etc.
His room will be saved online too! He will have in his login-area for the rest of his stay the possibility to check everyting related to his room, the flat, the city, the payments, service like "booking a maid"/"creating a bank account"/"call a pizza" and all of that. Every single contact and transaction will be saved, so that he can allways check what happened or not. He can also state problems with the room or his roommates, the furniture or whatever. Every contact will be made through this site! That is the aim.
Hope that is a bit clear. We need CSS, (X)HTML, Photoshop, PHP and mySQl for realising this project. Please dont contact me or bid here if you use ready templates or if you try to solve this very simple. We need accurate work, I need a lot of examples of the work you have done(!). Feel free to send me links of your references. Tell me if you will work together with someone else. Maybe who is gonna do the design and you for example the coding. Dont worry. The only thing I need is: A GOOD WORK DONE...NOT FOR THE SHORT MOMENT!!! I need you for a long time. So. Please! Do only bid if you can say, ok, I have the experience and the know how. I will get to know that very very fast if you can do that or not.
That is actually all to this project. Feel free to ask questions. I will delete bids that only say: "I can do that" or that say "Yes we can!". I need honest and hard work.
I am a student and this service is made by me for all students who have problems getting a room. It is really a social project, not with the aim of making money.

d finish this project, development-wise. As part of the reworking, you will be expected to manage a way in which the existing content can be imported into the new database. This is important as it currently runs to thousands of questions.

Simple database update needed for a small informational site
for a job to update two columns in a ~920 row database. The database feeds to a a website via PHP/SQL.
The simplest way will probably be to export the database into a spreadsheet program and update accordingly. However, I will leave that up to you. Once it is reuploaded with all the modifications, the project will be complete. Simple as that! The new information will be taken from PDFs available online via a government website.

Need a website logo designed in photoshop. Website name is thevideomole.com. Quick and simple.
