this is a php/mysql web app to manage warranty jobs and parts
it links to two other mysql/php apps (IDS & REG) for data retrieval and data updating. ON SAME (WIN) SERVER.

rather than reinvent the wheel, we think we coudl use teh open source PHP app, Mantis, that we already use as a base for this as Mantis already has 1/2 or more functionality we need
but if you thinak faster/easier/cheaper to do from scratch then you can

time required is asap ... BUT there is no specific requirement .. just as soon as possible to get a great result ... after all we have waited four years so what is abut more time :-)

1. i usually make several partial escrow payments and, depending on length and type of project, often release some escrow as the project progresses AND i have some working and useable results
2. i use email & MSN & skype to communicate/discuss, but MANTIS is the main/only tool to place & manage & monitor all project status
3. i am usually available m-f 10-7 and often sat & sun arvo
4.time zone is GMT+10 (AEST)
