Create A Toolbar
Required skills: Safari, Programming, Internet Explorer, Google, Chrome
Overview
--------
I need a Toolbar add-on for browsers that will work with FireFox, Internet explorer, Google Chrome, Safari etc. The toolbar should be an .exe file that a user can install onto there computer (It's easier for me to distribute in that format).
Once the toolbar is downloaded and installed onto a users computer, it should then detect when the users opens a browser, then when the browser is opened.. check if the toolbar exsits.
If NOT - Direct to a page where the user can install the toolbar.
If it does - Go to the content page.
The toolbar will be a simple iframe of a html page on my website, so you don't have to do any button or code programming, 26px in height and 100% wide, so I will be designing that. Your job is simply coding it to work perfectly on users computers, pc (mac at a later stage) and on all Operating Systems's. It should also have an option to set my site as the users homepage.
I also need some sort of html code to detect if the toolbar has or has not been installed, if not it should re-direct to the download page, if it is already installed show the page content.

IE Toolbar creation with links to a database
Excel toolbars, so that they appear on the IE toolbar. The user can then the Excel toolbar and icon functionality to modify/perform calculations within the spreadsheet template.
When finished, the user will select the "Finished" button from the toolbar window. The server application will save the editted file back to the server.
Similiar functionality will also be needed for Word, and Powerpoint. Looking for the development of a prototype.

Create add-in toolbar for Firefox, IE, and Safari
r to the Digg toolbar. As the user is browsing, they should be able to click a button on the toolbar, that button will open a new window containing a form. I will develop all of the backend logic, you are responsible for only the toolbar. The toolbar code must be handed over to me at the end of the project. If you only know how to develop toolbars for Firefox, just bid on that part of the project. Please send me samples of previous toolbars that you've developed.
