I need an experienced programmer who can handle developing of firmware for DSL routers. I will need to customize an existant firmware and build in some more new features in the router. Making the router to act like a proxy is the main task, and there a few smaller ones more. Please reply with models of DSL routers you are familiar with. I prefer to choose bids from D-Link or Linksys experts with strong experience, fastest roundtime and reasonable price. Please bid ONLY if you are experienced with DSL routers firmware updating and customizing process.
We need a firmware update developed for 2wire DSL Wireless Gateway (2701HG-B) with AT&T firmware. We would like to build in a proxy (squid, tinyproxy or any other you will find suitable) into the router, and also some additional minor functions are neded. After firmware updating the router should save all previous functionality and act like a proxy for incoming WAN connections (probably using login/password).
>Modification: Router must connect to a pre-defined proxy server on the web only, all traffic routed thru this proxy on the web. Like a transparent-proxy within the router itself. On the proxy on the web, the router connects to, squid serves the incoming connections. Adrs of proxy to be changed via web-interface, protected by password.
All copyrights of the modifications to be passed to buyer.
We are looking for someone who can supply and upgrade the firmware on this router so that its BGP complient. This needs to be upgraded using TFTP. If you can do this please let us know.
Looking for someone to help me setup and configure a transparent linux box in bridge mode. What I am looking to do is place a linux box (in transparent mode so not to affect the speed) between our network switch and our dsl router to monitor the ip traffic and use iptables to disable users by ip or mac address. Would also like to have ntop (or something similar) installed to report ip traffic by ip address.

mato installed on a router that you can access for testing purposes. I don't have time to beta test your work on my router. Please make sure the script is 100% functional before sending to me.
I will not give remote access on my router for testing. Again, you will need your own to develop and test on, not mine.
I have a local web server running xampp that the script will run on. PHPInfo available upon request.
