I am looking to start a web site for an online ordering system for multi restaurants. the idea is for the consumer to visit the website and be able to find restaurants,view menus and be able to order online.
the customer will enter his or her zip code and address and then display the resturants that will deliver to address or display restaurants close by for pick up.
once the customer choose which restaurant they will order from the menu of that restaurant will pop up and he or she will slect which item they like to order after they are done the customer will be directed to another page where they enter their info and select the pyament type(if there is any).
after the customer confirm thier info and food order they should be able to hit a submit bottom.
restaurants should recive orders by fax or email but the fax is a must.
the web site should have an application to keep track of how many orders came out of each restaurant.

For the water softener salt, if there is a way to enforce a minimum quantity that would be helpful. For 25LB bags the minimum order we deliver is 10 and for all other sizes the minimum order is 5 bags.

would use some kind of package (ie Drupal, etc) for doing this, as this would offer a number of other benefits (that I've not mentioned above) like the ability for us to run reports on the orders that we've received.

This project is for a pizza shop. Basically would need to build a website (they already have one but its not that great) and incorporate online ordering system for pizzas to be picked up or deliver (address validation implemented). Payments will be made through a gateway which has already been purchased but needs to be implemented into the shopping cart.
