We are looking for someone who is very experienced with MS Access and MS SQL Server (Express) to produce a step-by-step written tutorial on how to convert our website from using an Access database to using an SQL DB.
The tutorial will be in the form of a Word document with plenty of screenshots explaining each step in the process from beginning to end.
You will also need to explain the step-by-step process of installing, configuring and maintaining SQL Server and how to setup a regular backup (and how to restore it).
Essential Requirements:
1) High level knowledge of MS Access and SQL server.
2) High level knowledge of SQL syntax and the differences between the syntax of SQL with Access and SQL Server
2) Availablity to provide assistance with the installation process if the tutorial is unclear.
3) Tutorial must be very detailed and easy to follow.
Basically we need someone who can assist with the changeover process from beginning to end.

I have the following in MySQL:
1) one stored procedure (~25 lines of code)
2) one function (~5 lines of code)
3) six triggers (~400 lines of code)
I need to convert this to MS SQL Server syntax.

an application whcih works in Access 2007 and Visual Basic and SQL Server 2005. We want to start move this application in to ASP so it works on the web. The compiled executable is 1.4Mb and contains everything for the application with the exception of some dll's it uses for some of the controls, its source code will be available, its written in c# and we use visual studio 2005 to edit.
Also conversion to VS2008 would be required too.
Internally my developers tell me there is about one days work to complete this but due to other projects and time constraints we can not do this internally.

I have created an application using asp and ms access as the backend and I have now hosted it to windows server with ms sql server. I have finished creating the database and tables and have also created a dsn for sql server and have included it in all my asp files. But I am getting "server 500" error.
can anyone fix this ?

I have a Microsoft Access Application with database information that i would like inserted into my Microsoft SQL Server database.

Inventory PHP-MS SQL Server App - additions & reports

Urgent - Need to add features to an existing inventory system that currently runs in PHP/MySQL. Need to add a table with current items available in three similar php pages (these three pages are "Last Confirmed balances", Receiving, Dispatched). C# Sql Server 2008 Development

I have spoke to c# developer they have notified me it would take 2 - 3 days full time working on it, its not an over complicated if you think it is, its a simple assignment.

I need this done asap, estimated time 1~2 hours.
You need to speak fluent english and have very strong skills in MS SQL Server 2008 (TSQL) to complete this job.
