1. Introduction
This document is a Request for Proposal (RFP) from Trinidad and Tobago Radio Network Limited (“the Client”) for web development work to complete the website (“the Website”) for 96WEFM. The Website is currently in an unfinished state as a result of effort by a previous development house. Therefore, Trinidad and Tobago Radio Network Limited (T&TRNL) invites Prospective Contractors to submit proposals for the work to complete the website based (“the Work”) on the guidelines and specifications contained in this document. It is the view of T&TRNL that the Website is more than 50% complete. It is therefore expected that proposals will address the current design and technology platform rather than a complete redesign. Proposals must be written in English and submitted in .pdf format by email to the following email address: Brian Holder-Chow Lin On: brianchow at 96wefm dotcom 1.1 Key Dates 1.1.1 RFP Issue Date The official Date of Issue of this Request for Proposal is July 7, 2009. 1.1.2 Proposal Submission Date The official deadline for the receipt of proposals is 12:00 am (midnight) on July 13, 2009 at the aforementioned email address. 1.1.3 Projected Award Date Based on the assumption that T&TRNL receive complete and clear proposals then the projected date for award of the Work is July 16, 2009. 1.1.4 Website Live Date It is T&TRNL's goal to have the 96WEFM website completed and Live by 12:00 am (midnight) on August 13, 2009. Proposals that can meet or exceed this goal will be given more favorable consideration. 1.2 Website Context As the name may suggest 96WEFM is an FM radio station and certain terms from the entertainment and media broadcast industry may be used. 1.3 Form of Instructions Respondents to this RFP are considered to be and referred to herein as Prospective Contractors. Any directives made to all respondents to the RFP with regard to their response are made to the entity, “Prospective Contractor”. 1.4 Form of Requirements From the group of Prospective Contractors a single Contractor will be selected to undertake the Work. Any directives made in this document to “the Contractor” are Requirements that refer to the Work to be performed by the selected entity. 1.5 Form of Response The Prospective Contractor shall provide a point-by-point response to this RFP and in particular the Specification. Responses to each numbered Requirement shall be one of the following three responses complemented by an optional explanation or clarification as necessary. 1. Fully Compliant (FC) 2. Partially Compliant (PC) 3. Not Compliant (NC) Prospective Contractors are encouraged to provide explanation or clarification especially in the cases of partial-compliance or non-compliance. For convenience and expedience in responding, Prospective Contractors can request an editable (.doc, .odt) version of the RFP from Brian Holder-Chow Lin On at brianchow at 96wefm dotcom. 1.6 Notice of Intent Prospective Contractors are encouraged to notify the Client that they intend to submit a response to the RFP. This will enable the Client to issue any modifications or clarifications that may be made to the RFP to all interested parties in a timely manner. 1.7 RFP Questions Any questions or requests for clarification that a Prospective Contractor may have during the RFP period can be submitted by email to Brian Holder-Chow Lin On at brianchow at 96wefm dotcom. Questions can be asked up to 24 hours before the submittal deadline. A response to a question will not be broadcast to all known Prospective Contractors, but only to the originator of the question. 1.8 Website Platform Experience The Website is based on the TYPO3 CMS 4.x on a LAMP web stack. The LAMP stack consists of a dedicated Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) 5 server running the Apache2 web server, the MySQL 5 database, and the PHP 5 scripting language. It is required that the Prospective Contractor have reference- able experience with this platform, and specifically the TYPO3 CMS. Additional details are provided in paragraph 2.2 Website Platform. Prospective Contractors are required to describe their experience with TYPO3 CMS on a LAMP stack. 1.9 Access to the Website Any Prospective Contractor that would like to access and review the in-progress WEFM website in order to support the development of their proposal can contact Brian Holder-Chow Lin On at brianchow at 96wefm dotcom.

We would like but not essential (if it adds significantly to cost), 'contact us', 'about us', 'job advice' sections. We would also like the functionality to automatically connect to a persons facebook when they download the app.
We would also like to incoroprate some 'license free' games to make the application more fun. I should add, we are looking for complete design, development and everything needed to get the app live.
