Seo Friendly Urls /joomla Site
Required skills: Joomla, PHP
I have a website built with Joomla and need the URL's to be seo friendly.
Instead of:
website .com/index.php?option=com_hotproperty&task=view&id=48&Itemid=2
I want it to be:
website .com/something-that-a-search-engine-can-read
Bid whatever you want, but I will select the bid that is lowest, from the bidder that has the highest number of feedback and a high rating.
Please explain your experience with joomla or the required technology to accomplish what I need, so that I can make an informed decision.

Seo Friendly Urls For A Php Site On Windows Server
I need some one who can set seo friendly URLS on my site.
presently the structure is like this
index.php?s=search&gender=Female&age=3&location=San+Francisco%2C+California&sex_or=Straight
I want all to be made with slashes.
I use windows server, I have wordpress installed and premalinks are working fine

"We worked on url rewriting but it does not possible to make similar URL in our current scenario, since we need product filter also so when we rewrite the url, the filter module get disturbed."

Using htaccess for SEO friendly URLS

www.site.com/member/foldername/pagename (notice, using a folder name rather than a database ID)

1) You must have at least 10 positive feedbacks
2) You must be familiar with git / github because the code is hosted there
3) You should be an expert in PHP and .htaccess

mambo SEO Friendly URLS
We have a website that has been recently migrated to an apache server that is using Mambo CMS. We have attempted to activate SEO friendly URLS without any success.
We have updated the .htaccess file and enabled SEO friendly urls within mambo but this does not work.

I know there is a couple of ways to achieve this, using htaccess and/or using only PHP.
I would obviously like the best way to create these seo friendly urls!

Seo Friendly Urls
de, and there are form fields that need to just have the new SEO url inserted into. This needs to be done on the fly. Ideally the SEO friendly urls should be made from the Record Title i.e. the name of the item being posted in the form.
I would also like the ability to update the SEO friendly url too.
Im currently using WAMP on my local machine and would like to test the custom coding on there and use it for other website projects

Update Joomla Seo Friendly Links Structure
in the .htacsess file to make the links follow the structure listed above and then insert 301 redirect for each page to direct to the new url.

SEO friendly URLs on wordpress using windows server & ISAPI rewrite

I have a wordpress site which is almost complete, and I am now looking to reqrite all of the URLs in order for them to be SEO friendly.
I have done some basic research on the net, and found a patch called ISAPI rewrite. this is installed on my windows server, and I am now looking for someone to assist me to configue this correctly, without harming my current database
please advise if you can assist

A) The top menu bar on the top left corner is not displaying smoothly in firefox like it does in IE and I need this fixed.
B) Need SEO friendly URLS put in place
C) Need the view cart/checkout text links/tab icon added to the top right of the site
D) Need the checkout flypage for virtuemart to more closely resemble the browse category and product flypages and look more professional
