Display Xml File On Website
Required skills: PHP, XML, MySQL, Data Entry
I have an xml file that contains information about various different homes (properties). I want my site to display the information from the xml file once I upload the file to my ftp server.
I need to upload a new version of this xml file to my ftp server each day. The xml tags and setup will remain the same; the only thing that will change is the content in the xml file. (sample xml file attached)
I'm not sure what the best way is to achieve this, maybe the xml file needs to be inserted into a MySQL database, so I am open to ideas and offers.
As seen in the screenshot provided, my site will need to be able to search for different properties and display them in the list.
I need someone to do this work. If I am 100% happy with your wok, i will give you several other projects, so please bid sensibly.

XML Upload on job needs developing and updating
eceive the correct information and a rule to be put in place where as the system knows that the jobs being uploaded are to an external link. At the moment the XML upload only allows for jobs to be posted on our site. I have attached a PDF with the XML formats and screen shots of what I need doing. I was working correctly up until a few weeks ago, suddenly it stop showing the profiles and pictures.
I think its due to bad programming and a quick scroll through the php code should give you an idear.

the php file must read the xml file once and only once, it must NOT read the xml file everytime we do a sort etc, so it needs to keep the xml file in memory and then perform operations without reading it every time we filter/sort/etc...

We need a Flash / Flex user interface to open a server side XML file, display its contents, and allow client side editing, then saving. This project is a conversion of an existing windows based program, which has been translated to PHP / Javascript.
