Music Social Website - More
Required skills: Flash, PHP, MySQL, Search Engine Optimization, Website Design
I would like to put together a website for musicians. Each member will have a profile. They will be able to upload their music and sell it. Sales would go through PayPal - we'd take a percentage of the sales.
There would also be a "radio station" at the website that allows visitors to listen to songs from a list the artists have uploaded onto the site. They pick a category - rock, pop - random - and the player plays that kind of music. Something like Snocap does on MySpace, but we'll be using internal music that's on our site.
We will have a studio section - like a forum - with tutorials for musicicans that will have audio, text and video tutorials.
I ALREADY have the basic look of the website - the graphics for it. So you would need to match those. And the index page has a short, basic Flash video. Text and images mostly. You would have to make that.
And probably the most important part of the site - we will have music contests where members can enter their music, then have them rated on by other members. Contests will run for a set amount of time.
The admin features will be very important on this one. If you don't have at least 5 ratings on Scriptlance, you don't need to bid. I need someone I can trust to do this well.
The host would be 1&1 - so you would need to familiarize with that as well. I put down PHP and mySQL, but I'm not sure what it takes to make this site work.
Money will be escrowed in full, then released in stages as we can agree upon. I have a perfect record of fast payments and feedback.
