Vb.net App - Post To Blog
Required skills: .NET, Visual Basic, MySQL
Summary: This app needs to be able to pull categories and tags from wordpress blogs, read content from a database, and post the content to a category. If there are multiple content items in the database, it should do the following: Post 1 blog post for the current time and ensure that post is pinged (blog services set up in wordpress are pinged), Post the REST of the content items as FUTURE blog posts (The posts should be IN wordpress, but set up as a future timed item. When the post time is met, the post should become active AND pinged).
What is required of the programmer:
1. Post to several of my blogs 'as described above'
2. Program in Visual Basic .NET
3. Post via XMLRPC
4. All posts (current and future MUST ping the services)
5. Add the ability to post to as many blogs and categories as I want
6. Pull the categories from the blogs upon addition of new blog for posting.
7. Pull the Tags from the blogs upon addition of new blog for posting.
8. Must be able to set the category of the post as well as the Title and the Tags (Tags should have the ability to be added if one does not exist)
I currently have a 'starter program'. This program will post to a WP blog using XMLRPC. It is a good base from which to build. However - the programmer MUST have WordPress knowledge and the ability to program in VB.Net.
I will NOT pay for a coder to learn WP or to learn how to code VB.Net applications.
