Poker Hand History Converter
Required skills: Perl/CGI, PHP, MySQL, CSS, Script Installation
I am working on putting together a Forum/Community site for Pot Limit Omaha poker, and I need to have a custom poker Hand History Converter script developed. (script is sometimes referred to as a poker Hand History "Parser") The Poker Forum is a VBulletin site (PHP/MySql bd)
A poker Hand History Converter allows an online poker player (Forum Member) to copy & paste a poker hand history in the text format provided by to them by the poker site, and have it converted into a format in which the cards that were dealt are represented in a graphical format rather than text.
I know there are a few older scripts (bisonbison hand converter), but we will probably need to start from scratch as the older scripts have become somewhat "outdated."
Our goal is to incorporate a poker Hand History Converter app into our Vbulletin Forum so Members can post and discuss poker hands. (HH Converter converts the text format of a Member's poker Hand History and displays the cards in a graphical format)

I want to call php function or create php object with parameters (hand history source, output options) return of this funcion/object will be parsed hand history.
It should be nice if programmer is poker related (I think it will be much easier for him to understand this project).

We are looking for a programmer who has developed a poker Hand History Converter before, and can provide an demonstration of the application. We are designing an online poker Forum for Pot Limit Omaha poker, and need to incorporate a Hand History Converter into the VBulletin (PHP) Forum software.

I'm a PHP Developer myself and can assist if needed. FTP / Server / Space all provided, including MySQL. No DB connections will need to be made, all that is setup, only need the actual parsing stuff done to parse out the data and format it.
I prefer someone who can communicate via AIM / MSN (ADanto6840 is my AIM)

Update Poker Hand Converter
We have a functioning poker hand history converter on our vbulletin forum site, but we need to find someone who can handle updating the script. It is a php script, and it needs to be updated as poker sites update their software and change the output of the text formats of the hand histories from their sites.
The script needs to be updated to accommodate recent changes from these poker sites: Full Tilt Poker, Poker Stars, iPoker, OnGame Network, Ultimate Bet.

Matching the design and feel of the Replayer, I need a Poker Odds Calculator created. The calculator should work exactly like the Pokerlistings.com calculator:

All of the hand histories should be stored in the database (preferably mysql).

either one at a time or several at a time and have it upload automatically and converted through this hand re-player and displayed on our website. Below the re-player, a list of the title, the author, a description field, the URL link and space for comments should be available.
This must work for at least both Hold'em and Omaha Hands. Logo's and graphics will be provided to the coder to embed into the re-player.

I would expect progress updates every two days so that I can ensure that the application is following the right path to avoid delays late in development.
The deliverables should include all code and compiled excutables. The application needs to be designed for Windows XP, however choice of development tool doesn't matter.

1. It needs to return the liklihood of acheiving certain hands. So if you have been dealt Ace King, it should return the liklihood of that hand making a pair, 3 of a kind, a flush, a straight etc
2. It should return the overall percentage strength of the hand currently held.
As mentioned above, it's critical we have a developer who understands the game of Texas Hold'em, so please do not apply without this knowledge.
