Covert Access Dbase To Mysql
Required skills: PHP, MySQL, MS Access
I use an Access database with formulas on my local PC. I want to use this same database online, either as Access or coverted to MySQL if needed. I want a simple user interface, and to be able to assign user logins for others to access and use the database also. I have a domain and server on godaddy.com. A little technical but not enough to make this happen. I used a program to convert my MS-Access dbase to .PHP and .SQL already, but need help getting it setup on the server. Looking for the fastest and easiest way to use my Access database via the web securely. Pricing is flexible if needed.

Dbase To Mysql
I don't need bidirectional synchronization yet.
The tool should be for Suse Linux.
Most important is that the tool is fast as it should run approx once a minute, perfect would be a tool that syncs in realtime.
Datasource is a bunch of .dbf files demo data will be delivered.
Last info: the dbf files will be stored on an networkdrive that is mounted locally (I don't think that this matters).

Next we need to have the cold fusion page converted to PHP that displays identical this link:
http://208.106.169.253/dealer_search.cfm
We are also open to migrating the Access Database to linux and just converting the CFM page to PHP. Whatever is more cost effective.
This is a small conversion job, we just do not have time for it.

We have access codes and installation for the whole system to get access to the full database and permission from the previous contractor to go ahead and get changes made (the system is owned in full by my client).
We are accepting quotes on Stage 1 only as a completed stage 1 should help to give enough idea of time to integrate web bookings.

and email the vendor, enter in new vendors etc. It should work the same way my current DB works..
Additional Info (Added 11/7/2010 at 7:56 EST)...Site should contain a admin page where I can add / delete users, run reports i.e open projects, project locations, projects by clients etc.. once this part is complete I wouls like to add a client side log in (seperate projct) where the client can view open projects, status of projects and add new project.

My domain remains on the windows based server until such a time I repoint the DNS from the old to the new ie;- When the job at hand is completed. In the meantime, I am already setup on the new linux server via a dedicated ip address rather than thru the nameserver. - userID/passwords/permissions will provided to selected bidder. Moving date around mid Oct.
