I am a PHP/MySQL programmer and I would normally do this myself but I'm swamped and so I'm outsourcing. This is what I need:
A script just like flickr.com or photobucket.com, but this will be designed for the upload of buildings and cityscapes. Therefore this should be able to handle large and unusual aspect ratio images (like panoramas or hi-res images).
The registration part:
A client would come to the site and sign up for an account - and the sign up can't be completed without a payment to PayPal (I know, this is a new detail). Therefore I need a very secure registration site with MD5 encoded passwords, email verification, and PayPal integration. I also have a PayPal Premier account so I can test everything out and work with you on that. I will need typical registration fields including optional address/phone numbers/ etc. Some will be optional fields, some will not be.
Once their account is registered and verified, a client may send a picture from their cell phone in addition to being able to upload the file locally. Sent as an email, the Subject line would be the picture's name, and the email Body will be the description that would also show on the client's page.
The client's page should represent all the uploaded photos as thumbnails with descriptions, maybe 9 to a page, showing the last uploaded pic first. By clicking a thumbnail, they'll see the full size picture, again with description.
Someone is already designing the look of the site, so you would just be supplying this script.
IMPORTANT:
I am a PHP/MySQL programmer myself and I am very strict with clean code and I also want Object Oriented code with the ability to template this script later. I will be looking at the code and may need to make upgrades to it later - so documentation, comments, clean tabs, etc. are mandatory.
You are welcome to use any Ajax/Javascript/JQuery as you see fit to make things neat.
