Calendar Script Installation

This is a website I designed. It's a DJ and party company.
I need a simple calendar script installed on the main page. I want there to be a simple yet nice looking calendar in the spot where it says "Calendar Coming Soon." Just a simple box Calendar that has the day highlighted for whatever day it is of course.
Here comes the hard part. I need to be able to add certain events for certain days and when it hits that day I need it to display the event in nice text (or some other way) in the box below that says "Upcoming Events Coming Soon."
I'm not sure how easy it will be or if it's doable without a ton of work. I don't have a HUGE budget for this project and I would be fine with a premade script as long as it does the trick and looks good on the site.
Lots more work to come if this works out!
