Web Design For Ecommerce Site
Required skills: XHTML, MySQL, CSS, Graphic Design, Website Design
This is a front-end design job for an eCommerce site. The does not require back-end coding. However, if you have extensive experience with designing eCommerce sites and know how to code for proper SEO, I will also consider you for the back-end job.
The following requirements are needed:
1. Strong fluency of the English language
2. Honor deadlines
3. Proper communication
4. Competitive pricing
5. Extensive experience in regards to scope of work; please be honest about your abilities
6. Available for ongoing projects
7. Willing to provide guidance in relation to best practices for the site
In order to give a designer an idea of what I want for my site, I decided to design a mockup for my main page and logo in Illustrator (no, I'm not a designer).
I need a talented graphic artist to review the design of the main page and suggest revisions and tweak the design to comply with industry standards. I would also like to have my logo tweaked to reflect the name of my business.
In addition, I need the inner pages of the site designed (this consists of about 20 pages). This includes a blog and newsletter. I will provide you with the sitemap and will also reference sites for you to get an idea of how I want the pages designed. You must have extensive knowledge of how to code the pages for the programmer. I do know that I want the pages table-less and designed in XHTML/CSS that must adhere to W3C standards. I will probably be using Magento.
For your information, I would like the site designed and coded in the following manner:
no vertical hierarchy and the product pages cross-linked; product pages designed in a graphic image/text link combination; and, up-sell links included that show customers related products.
I will be offering standard Paypal and another payment system similar to Paypal Pro.
Only designers with significant feedbacks (60+) and repeat customers will be considered for the job. Please do not bid on the job if you don't have the necessary skills and feedback.
Again, this is only for design work. Please feel free to ask questions.

Logo design for Ecommerce site
Qwik-E-Mart does not have to be perfect just a working example mock up. When chosen you can fine tune it and finalize the logo. I have dealt with other designers that came up short of Expectations! And had MANY only show me the same original design's passing as there own. Like mentioned watermark all images do not want to steal anything just want to see what you can do that will easily make me choose the designer quicker.
