osC / CRE Loaded expert needed
Required skills: PHP
I have an existing osCommerce (CRE LOADED 6.15) store, and require some modifications.
1. Remove date added on 'products_new.php', and add the first 200 characters plus "..." of the product description.
2. Round up any quantity to an interger in shopping cart, to stop users trying to buy 1.5 books :-)
3. Remove sex, date of birth and company from account signup forms, and other forms where these fields are present. Telephone number should be changed to a not required field.
4. On checkout_shipping_address.php and checkout_payment_address.php, post code field needs moving, and UK for country should be selected by default on drop down menu.
5. Remove product notification options from checkout_success.php
6. On order confirmation email, postcode and county are the wrong way around, and should be on their own line with no comma separating. Order email should also include Nochex transaction ID.
7. After checkout and successful Nochex payment, basket still contains items!
8. Extend search box in header to automatically include product description in search criteria.
8. Adjustments to layout in FAQ section, just listing questions and not answers on faqdesk_index.php (this is supposed to be an option in osC admin, but does not seem to work). Removing FAQ statistics from faqdesk_info.php and other minor changes to layout.
9. I am currently using Currently using the ‘Flat rate shipping' module, I renamed the text description to ‘Royal Mail, Recorded Signed For' (a postal service in the UK). I now want to offer my customers a choice of 1st Class Recorded Signed For, or 2nd Class Recorded Signed For, whilst still keeping free delivery for orders over ?15.
10. I have a hyperlink on product_info.php to a popup window explaining my product attribute choices, this is currently an extra database column and I enter raw HTML on each product in a text area in the Catalog admin. As this is almost always the same for each product, it would be better to be linked somehow, maybe using a system like ‘Info Manager' or ‘Define Mainpage'.
11. I would like a new text line on my product_info.php page, where random text or images can be displayed to promote other parts of my store. I see this as a small customisation using the inbuilt osC Banner Manager.
Finally, I would like a concise appraisal of the security and HTML compliance and general neatness of my store, providing recommendations and best practice. Any parts of my store that are unused should be identified with a view to being removed (i.e. product reviews, as this is not used).
I am interested in finding a professional programmer that is interested in working with me on this store as an ongoing project. I want a strong communicator, and someone who is responsive to suggestions. In your bids, please tell me what number I duplicated in the numbered list above, this is so I know who actually read the project :-)
The programmer I select will make all these changes and modifications on a test/development version of my store, and when the work is complete and tested, the changes will need to be applied to my live store. Escrow no problem :-)

Small changes to CRE Loaded website

2. There is a drop down menu to show a listing of 'Brands' that are represented in the shopping cart. The list is blank and I need it to read the brands from the database and show them in the drop down menu and when a user selects a brand, to be taken to a product listing page.

ntory that we have in store and for some reason it just added everything under one category in the back-end, and changed the title of all the products to begin with same title for every product on the back-end, but nothing displays on the actual site. Everything was moved under "Bicycle Handlebars" in the back-end by the system. We just want to reverse whatever glitch occurred in our system so that all our products will display again.

HSBC CPI Payment Module Config for CRE Loaded Store
is recorded on database in admin if java/ is removed from spiders.txt but then causes a fatal error and crashes.
Would prefer somebody with experience of this payment module as I am aware can be a bit of pain to get working correctly. Would think just need some modifications to php around the checkout process to get cart and orders recorded to database correctly.

CRE Loaded expert need to fix problem with SEO-G module

Our Cre Loaded site has the SEO-G module installed. The module stopped working. So now when a customer visits a previously bookmarked page, ie http://www.website.com/cool-product.html, he is prompted with a 404 Not Found message.
