We are an India based Company looking to build a cadre of free-lance web-application builders, for some of our in-house projects and for our India and Foreign based Clients. Building approach is required to be in reusabe components, full documentation,
Prices are required to be competitive because our foreign clients outsource to us because of our price-competitiveness and the Indian clients can't afford costs at Dollar denominated renumerations.
However, in many cases automation/knowledge of existing software (open source or otherwise) for building into the project, and/or domain knowledge of the person/company in question, may cut costs in unknown ways, by faster development, existing building blocks etc.
However, people identified are to be used in bigger & bigger projects, as our confidence in them builds up. It will be a constant business...not one time.
Please don't quote price only. We are not interested in that. Please tell us why you would use a given software/language/tool & why? How you would document the project? and why? Tell us about your skill-sets, your past projects, your involvement/contribution to any open source/important project (socially/commercially)..let us know you!
Now: Gmail Trash Deletion & Spam Information bot.
Requires to run on a linux cron job. Will log run-time to a database, get from database an account information, delete all trash in the account, log number of mails deleted into the database, check the spam folder and log all mails with sender & subject in the database, check delete & unspam flags in earlier fetched spam list & delete or shift the message to inbox...after that delete the message list from the database & log the activity numbers.
Project may run with a postgresql database or with flat/xml files, so an invoke time option is to be given.
Project may later or right now be required to run with other free web-mail services like yahoo.com or rediff.com, so existing open source web-mail fetching tools may be used as building blocks/libraries. We may GPL the software. All configuration is to be in .conf files in case of flat file/xml file use and a mix of .conf file & postgres, in case run with a database.

be logged into from a different proxy. Preferably, that email address is tagged with that proxy from then on and each time the bot logs into that email address it uses the same proxy that it did before. If that proxy is not available, then it will grab another unused proxy from the list.
