Looking to upgrade a up and running site.
Things that need do be done:
New design.
Custom coded backend or modified.
Backend:
Add/ Change pages.
Change text and images on the data page as the homepage, about us and so on.
The solid pages on the site will be equipped with a WYSIWYG (What you see is what you
get) editor that makes it easy to change text and images.
The user can then easily select the page to update and edit the text or
delete / add images as needed.
Product groups and menu pages:
create the various sub-menus and under submenus.
Add unique text to every sub-category and meta. Uplaod sub menu picture.
Change position of submenu (example: sub menu1 will be shown after sub menu 4).
Add product:
Add product, choose submenu, add picture/pictures, text, prices, optional, related products, specefications, series, meta tags.
When the info is added we will be able to create the page for the web. The page should include the product with all information and options for the product and also realated products. The page should also be auto created in pdf and page it self should be print adapted.
Since there are alot of diffrent products and they come in diffrent shapes, form and number is it importent for us to have some form of template that is easy to customize without coding everytime.
Newsletterfunction. Just save all emailadresses and easy export of them.
Advanced searchfunction.
Facebook integration "Like" & "Recommend" on product level and also for the whole company.
The site should be search engine friendly.
Wishlist, with easy printing and pdf.
On the indexpage we want a header that slide thru products, we want an easy way to change picture without any design experice, picture edting tool. This can be integrated in add product section.
Also we want a mobile soultion for this site.
I know the company that we work for are very intrested to use adobe flex in the system.
What i want from you is a detailed report how you will do this, what programming language you will use, backend, andother things that may be relevant to the project.

EASY - Font Correction needed to view fonts the same on all browsers for new site needed by BAMS
