Stock Trading Game
Required skills: .NET, C# Programming, Visual Basic
I am looking for someone to build a stock trading simulator that functions similiar to chartgame.com. Instead of being a website I want the project wrote as a desktop application preferably done in vb.net.
The basic premise of the program is to replay historical stock data (1 day per second) and allow the user to take either long or short positions. The program should be able to:
- display common technical indicators (moving averages, etc...)
- track long/short positions with running tally of profit/loss
- allow for play/pause/rewind of the chart
- behave more like a video game than typical back-testing software
I have the historical data in a sql database.
I have more ideas for features that would be implemented in a second version.
