Logo design and branding upgrade ready for small start up

Hi there,
We are planning to launch a small online / web based T-shirt / clothing website where customers can order clothing online. We already have a brand name and logo but both of these need some work to improve the quality and finish of each.
This is a simple job that should take very little time.
We need :
1. The brandname is called ozer and this is the logo or name itself that will be printed on T-shorts / shorts / jackets and so on. See attached graphic file which we used previously. We need to upgrade / update and refine this graphic and want to see a few design suggestions to chose from. The theme is ocean / beach outdoor wear from Australia thus the r in the name looks like a wave. This can be changed if need to suit your creative design.
Also, some work on the o in the ozer name needs to be to emphasise but not make it look like a copied theme from any other famous brands. (eg. unlike Oakley)
Since this brandname will be printed on high quality clothing for outdoor use, the exisitng graphic needs to be edited / modified so that it is easily printed on clothes and does not have sharp points at the end of letters which could peel off the shirt etc with wash & wear etc.
2. The ozer catchcry to go with the name logo is going to be one of the following but yet to be chosen depending on your ozer brandname design. Please create these below in a similar font (but smaller) to the logo design above. For example, our website header will eventually say :
Ozer. Just a name.
Ozer. The race is on.
Ozer. Legend has it.
Please submit your design / edit ideas for 1. and 2. above with at least 5-10 of each for us to chose from.
Our target market for online clothes is males and females in the age range of 15 to 30 years but we want a legible and easily recognised but unique brand logo and catchcry.

We will discuss price and terms after the conclusion of this project. Once we reach an agreement on price and terms for the brochure work, we will post the project on Scriptlance and invite only the chosen designer to bid on it.
