Fix BIND DNS server

i messed with permission and now

webmin: BIND DNS Server, Postfix, SpamAssassin and MySQL Database Server failed to start.

i able to started ssh with command chown root /var/empty/sshd but i do not know the rest. you job is to start these programs in webmin and let me know how your did for each program. it shouldn't be hard for the pro. i can afford $ 20 and under.

Need assistance configuring bind on CENTOS 5.5

I've just buy a used but functionnal server for hosting websites. What I need, is a technician (sorry, i'm a developper!) who can help me configuring a DNS (www, ftp, mail etc) on this server.

I have made some of the work (server installation, firewall port configuration etc) but i'm stuck with DNS...

You have to be available the week between 8pm to 12am (GMT -5 Eastern time).

the apache for different domain names now running like 35.33.33.77/domain1 and 35.33.33.77/domain2.
We added one of name server on registrarer as ns1.domain1.com and the ip of amazon ec2 instance but coudl not run on amazon.
Also if anyone expert on amazon http://docs.amazonwebservices.com/Route53/latest/GettingStartedGuide/ that can be better maybe.

the email are sent without DomainKey. (i need them verified with domain keys so the don't go to SPAM boxes)

Also i need (not very important) the PTR keys for the domain, so rDNS work.

There has been some config issue in my webmin installation. I can create a virtualmin virtual server but a DNS entry is not automatically assigned. This means I cannot access via the web.

I don't want to play around with the settings as I'm not sure what I am doing but it sounds like a really simple fix for someone who knows how!

you are responsible for configuring all dns, ftp, mail, etc so that EVERYTHING that is on current server is on new server and running properly. current system is very old and slow.

Most of the domains host only a couple static pages, but 3 domains will need to be moved off hours so that live data remains intact for normal business hours here in New York City.

r will take care of server setup including firewall, apache, root access setup, etc.

I don't have good linux skills. I need some help configuring the dns, ssl, maybe fine-tuning apache settings, and trouble-shooting if problems come up. I can take care of the php/mysql app details.

I'm looking for server setup fine-tuning help and ongoing support when we need help with the server. Is this something you can do? What is your hourly rate?

SMTP server needs to installed (accepting only local mail) because PHP should be able to send mail using mail().

Some basic security settings should be done to secure the server:
MySQL should allow only local connections.

Disable root login.
Create a new admin user.
Change SSH port.
Would be good if phpMyAdmin would fixed so it doesn't require root login.

That's it.
