I would like this macro and setup to be rewriten in either C# or Java, to speed up the processes, since excel is reaching its limits with 1200 bonds at the moment. I would like to have around 3000-5000 bonds that are scaned.

The use of pthreads in the orig program must instead use Java 6 native or green threads.
