Drawing 2D Floorplans with Adobe Illustrator
Required skills: Graphic Design, Illustrator, Photoshop
We require 2D residential floorplans drawn with Adobe Illustrator based on scanned images of sketches that we will provide. The floorplans we require are quite basic, consisting of walls, features, and measurements. Measurements are provided in the sketch, therefore you will only be required to trace over the sketches using the pen tool on Illustrator and adding some texts to label the rooms with measurements. Components such as furniture, features and plants will be provided in the template, and all you would have to do is to copy and drag them into appropriate locations. Technical details are not necessary and the sketches we will provide are drawn to scale (or very close to).
We have a list of requirements such as line weights for certain components. We will provide a template with specific components that we require. The template must be used for all floorplans delivered to us.
This will be a continuing project; there is no specific completion date. We would like to be invoiced per job (each job being a single property). Each property varies in size and number of floors. Generally our floorplans are single or double story, less than 40squares (not square metres) in size.
We expect delivery of the completed file in Adobe Illustrator format within 24hours after we send a sketch to you. The sketch will be sent to you between 9am and 6pm Australia (Melbourne) time.

If are interested in working with us, we would first like you to have a trial. Please provide your price per job. Our in-house floorplan staff generally take 30 to 60minutes to complete a job.

The colors and lines need to be preserved and there cannot be any visible blurriness or jagged edges, and they must be individual pieces whose colors can be altered.
