Summary:
We require a Programmer/DBA to create a script that can import product data to already existing tables within our database for use within our shopping cart. The script has a certain amount of complexity as it must be able to generate a combination of values from options that we need to assign preferably via csv format and then be able to import this data within the existing tables.
Background:
Our shopping cart runs on the interspire big commerce engine, which is a php & html based system. At installation the shopping cart has created the necessary tables it requires to function so the script would need to interact with these tables instead of creating its own. The shopping cart has a feature that enables the creation of variations to a product (eg. a product with colour and size variations). These variations are added per product within the shopping cart.
The problem - is when you have over 1000 products with variations you do not have the time to create them one by one.
The only problem is that the shopping cart does not have a function to upload all the combinations that are generated by the variation options.
For example say Product1 is a customisable product.
Product 1 has a variation with 2 options, - Colour and Font style. With in the colour option there are 28 colour available and the font style option has 15 fonts available. Thus the resulting variation combinations in total are 28 colours x 15 font styles = 420 unique combination variations. This is the product information we are looking to upload.

The shopping cart manages the variations in the following manner:
1. A product variation is independently created within the shopping cart, so that multiple products can use the same variation. This information is stored in isc_product_variations.
2. The shopping cart enables you to enter variation options and their relevant values. (eg. Colours is one option that may have up to 8 colour values such as red, blue, pink, etc.) This information is stored in the isc_product_variation_options table.
3. Once a product is added there is an option to select a variation to be applied to the product. Once selected the shopping cart would generate all the available variation combinations from the options specified to the cart. (eg. if a product has 28 colour options and 15 font style options 420 combination options would be generated) Once saved the data is added to the isc_product_variation_combinations table.
Thus the relevant data is stored in the following tables.
Product Details = isc_products
Product variations = isc_product_variations
Variation Options = isc_product_variation_options
Variation combinations = isc_product_variation_combinations
All data is linked via product id's, variation id's, variation option id's and combination id's found within each respective table.

1. Enable us to create a product variation with the ability to add or remove options and their values and be able to store the relevant information in the isc_product_variations & isc_product_variation_options tables.
2. Generate all available variation combinations from the created variation.
3. Enable us to specify to which products the variation and variation combinations will be applied to, preferably via a csv file and store the relevant information in the isc_proucts, isc_product_variation_combinations & other relevant tables.
