We are a small retail shop and use a "home made" access database as our point of sale till system and customer database system. The person who made the database has left the business - and my access knowledge is limited.
I would like to edit a report so that includes more data (which are currently shown on separate reports).

We currently have a daily report that details payment transactions. I would like to add to this actual sales made and the total debtors figure at that time. As I've said these are listed under their own separate reports (but I would like them under the one report for ease of use).

future (or let the customer customize them), and be able to add or remove fields - which may be a stretch as i could easily do this in access, but if there was a way to add a field dynamically, it would be great. let's say i wanted to start recording the weight of an object in a new field. the customer would just add a field, and start recording the new field.

I will provide the original database as a template if I choose you.

Basically I have a access form and two tables and one report-
I use form to hold data- untill I want to submit data-
When data is submitted it is sent to second table and first table is empty.

I want to create a form that allows user to enter password to enter database- and also allows user to change password as long as they know the current password.
( I don't want user to be able to over-ride password by holding down the shift key when they enter database)-
