MILESTONE #1: Task Escalation for Highrise
The first half of the job is to create task escalation.
Tasks:
-Administrator Login
-Pull all users from Highrise and list on a single page (see whiteboard sketch, attached)
-Allow the administrator to select a manager for each user (see whiteboard sketch, attached)
-Allow the administrator to select a company-wide time-until-escalation time for tasks (day increments) (see whiteboard sketch, attached)
-Pull all tasks (that can be seen by the administrator) every day at midnight
-Check all tasks that are overdue by the amount specified in the time-until-escalation
-For every task that is overdue, create a task in Highrise on the same record (Contact, company, case, or deal) but for the employee's manager in this format: OVERDUE: <task name> - <user name>
Once a bidder is selected, you will be given the Highrise API token.
TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Language/framwork: Ruby on Rails 3.1
Version Control: Git
Gems: Devise for authentication (https://github.com/plataformatec/devise), highrise for Highrise API wrapper (https://github.com/tapajos/highrise)
Programming technique: TDD required. BDD preferred.
Hosting: Heroku on the bamboo-mri-1.9.2 (current defualt) stack
COMPLETION:
We will consider your job complete when all the tasks above have been completed, we have the source code, and we have seen a working demonstration of the job hosted on Heroku.
