Symbian phone tracking application
Required skills: Symbian
Application is a symbian phone tracking application will be responsible for finding phone location and sending it to the Server. Application dosen't need to have a sophisticated user interface.
The lifecycle of this application involves
1. Automatically starting symbian application at a defined start time.
2. Application logs in with server and keeps running in the background.
2. Application gets location fix (latitude, longitude) for the phone with GPS/Cell ID method and send it to server. This activity is repeated every after a defined internal for e.g. 3 min till the application is running.
4. The application is then automatically stopped at a time specified by server during.
5. Application wakes up again at the next time interval defined by server.
The requirement is the ability of the application to quietly run in the background without any user intervention and keep sending locations to server.

Vendor will be responsible for all the development work and expertise for the mobile application application.
Target Platform and Handset Compatibility
Native C++ Application for Symbian S60.
Application should support all series 60 handsets.
Deliverables
Vendor will develop the application and share all the artifacts of development including
1. Design specification
2. Source code.
3. UI specifications
4. Test Specifications including unit test specifications.
5. Build script
6. Any other specifications / scripts / libraries required for the deliverable to be continually developed for next versions.
Development Process
Vendor will be required to share following specifications with LocationGuru as a part of process.
1. The design of the application before coding phase
2. UP specifications before coding phase.
3. Unit tests for the application during the coding phase.
Acceptance
Vendor will prepare acceptance test cases and share with LocationGuru. LocationGuru will review and finalize acceptance tests send it back to vendor. At the end after the final delivery from vendor LocationGuru will execute acceptance tests to certify the application. LocationGuru reserves the right to validate all the deliverables for the project identified in Deliverable for Quality and Correctness and ask vendor to make changes to the details.
Other Terms and Conditions
Use of Library:
Vendor is allowed to use standard Symbian environment for application development. Vendor will take explicit approval from LocationGuru for use of any third party libraries.
Intellectual Property - Work for Hire
This application will be developed by vendor as work for hire basis. LocationGuru will get the source code and retain all the IP right for the work done. Vendor has to sign confidentiality and other agreements to ensure that the delivery is free of any IP rights related conflicts.
Warranty
The application will have warranty of 3 months. Vendor should fix all the bugs reported in the warranty period.

Connect a bluetooth sensor to a symbian phone and sms
SMS messaging. The remote cell phone will send a command to the cell phone that is bluetooth connected to the sensor. Upon receiving the SMS message, the receiving phone will wake the application, connect to the bluetooth sensor, read the data and send the data as a SMS message to the remote cell phone. Once data is sent, the program stays silent or iddle.

Vehicle Tracking Application
of vehicles on google maps. Vehicles should be able to be tracked with a blackberry application. The online applications should record travel data of each vehicle, calculate mileage, travel cost, driver working hours. The system should be able to send out email alerts when a driver is driving too fast or enters a high risk area which must be adsjustable. It must be possible to enter a co-ordinate which has a radius that can be classified as a risky area which will send an email alert.
