I am looking for someone who can design a gps tracker using gsm/gps/gprs combo module sim908.
This gps tracker will not track continuously. It will track only on request of tracking.
This tracker will be in sleep mode all time, and wake up after periodic intervals and look for tracking request.
In sleep mode it should consume least battery in such way that it will run continuously on 1100mAh battery
for atleast one year.

GPS tracker hardware design
ut. The design works on 3v as most gsm/gps modules can work well in this range. The tracker must support 4 sim cards but only 1 gsm will be used at one time. Pls qoute me your rough designing fees

cker send by SMS to the mapping software already installed on the device and request of positions of the gps tracker (by motion sensor, by fixed or dynamic time interval, by geofence,by travel distance, by over speed , by user polling , Low battery report) from the application.

Software could have a settings page ; for update URL, username, password, sending period (30second-1hour) (user name will be device imei number)
and a small language file.
If you can handle to send data to server, we handle rest. we can create gateway or listener for incoming data from android.

GPS or GSM tracker
so that i can locate it using online webservices such childlocate or people locator. I would like to know if the tracker could be fitted with a vibration or tilt sensor so that i receive a text when moved.
If i find someone to build one of them at an affordable price, i will probably order more as i already have clients in view to buy them.
Don't know if a RF transmitter could be fitted in the tracker so it could be located if concealed.
