We are looking for a "turn key" solution taking two templates along with the content and design elements we will provide into a fully functional, integrated web presence for a multinational premium health and beauty products manufacturer and supplier.
We have two templates - one is Joomla (for a corporate website) and one Zen Cart (for the associated online store). We want the two sites to be developed with the same look and feel so from the consumer's perspective there is no appreciable difference between the two - other than their function.
The templates will be supplied; so too will the key elements of corporate design (logo, background, borders, etc). The content and site map will also be supplied - both the copy as well as all pictorial elements - along with a general layout guide but this requires to be interpreted and customized as necessary.
The Joomla template (corporate site) will amount to approximately 30 pages, running typically to 3 levels. Where it is possible, we would like product queries to be sourced from the online store database (Zen Cart). For the first stage of deployment we want English only (other languages at a later stage). We will want to be able to add and update content directly on a regular basis.
The Zen Cart (online store) site will initially commence with around 25 products (35 different SKU's, counting size differentials). Over time this will rise but we don't see it ever moving past a few hundred products - and we know this is well within the Zen Cart capability.
We need the online store to link to the PayPal international payment gateway, and we will be accepting credit card payments in 4 currencies initially. Obviously we want the full functionality of the template to be deployed - allowing for customer information to be securely stored as well as acting as a CRM database. Ideally we would like to have just one client database between the corporate and online shopping areas but only if that is practical.
We want to retain full user control over the products for pricing, promotions, adding and deleting products and so on.
There is one flash banner on the home page of the corporate site so competency in Flash is another requirement.

At this stage we are looking for indicative bids based on the above parameters, so we can decide on who we think is best fit for this task - once this is done we will then provide the more detailed information and we can discuss where there might be variances from the requirements above.
