Required skills: Apache, Linux, MySQL, PHP, Shell Script
We have built a Network Management system and require to connect modules of our system, briefed below is the system logic: -
The system comprises three components: -
1) The Central Database / Web Console
2) The Radius / Authentication Server
3) Wireless Access Point / Supplicant
4) The Client, i.e. Laptop user, PDA user, etc.
We have completed the database schema and build. The database is ready for use and we have designed an Admin Panel to query this database.
We have installed and configured EZ Radius, an open source tool performing Authentication services.
We have our Access Points and firmware ready and operational.
The requirement: -
1) We need the Access Point to comunicate with the Database on a real time basis for reporting and monitoring network equipment and clients. We are currently using "Cacti" a graphing tool for fetching relevant information from the Access Point to the Database.
Parameters missing are Frequency, Signal Strength, Channel, Users Connected, Data Upload, Data Download, etc. We require to configure Cacti for the missing information. We require to map the Cacti database to our Central Database / Web Console.
2) Radius server configuration for Certificate based authentication; for user access.
3) Remote configuration of Access Points from the Web Console.
4) Access Point firmware configuration interface on device reset.
Summary
Candidates with prior Wireless network systems, Linux server administration, Radius Server exposure will be preferred.
