I am looking for a book illustrator for an illustrated memoir I am self- publishing. It is approximately 30 pages with some text. I have detailed descriptions of the pictures I would like. I want an almost child like quality to the drawings. I dont want them to be realistic but sketchy/abstract, bright and colourful. I am interested in potentially making a small animated movie out of the book.

publishing experience who thinks they can bring Furby to life. Thats the hard part I would guess. While I have an idea how Furby looks, how do you bring a little fir tree, ( Furby is his name for a reason, not Firby)to be adorable and lovable without being maudlin.
