Setting up a VPN server
Required skills: Windows Server
I am looking to have someone set up a VPN server for me that I can base in my home and connect to when I travel abroad. I am looking for something similar to the service www.strongvpn.com provides where the IP address of where I really am is masked and only my home IP address is revealed. My knowledge of networking is very limited but I would also like to learn how to maintain the server so an explanation of the setup process would be appreciated. There will only be a need for one client connection but I would appreciate it if the configuration would keep the speed optimal. I will need to know what hardware to purchase and any other things that may be needed. I would prefer if the server ran on a Windows based system. I would also appreciate suggestions of what would be the best option, OpenVPN, PPTP, etc.

Configuring A Vpn-server Linux

I need help setting up a dedicated server by dancesavvy
he biggest issue is my large customer database which drives the shopping cart of my website. It's MySQL. Compressed this database is 65MB. So we'll need to transfer and unzip this database. I'll also need you to make sure the database is connected to the shopping cart.
There is also a small database that need to be set up and imported taht one is 550 kb.
I will transfer the html pages and images myself via ftp.
I need to have this done ASAP!

Setting up a proxy server for Windows 2003
to probably setup a proxy server in the Windows server which listens to a port (say 444). We can configure the billing application to initiate the credit card transactions on port 444. On seeing a credit card transaction in port 444, the proxy server must use the client certificate to send the transactions to the payment gateway API.

1.- Put a clean saucepan on the stove.
2.- Using a match turn, light up the stove.
3.- Drop 2 tablespoons of olive oil inside the saucepan.
3b.- Wait 45 secs.
4.- Grab an egg.
5.- Crack it on top of the saucepan and drop its content on it.

The project has too basic steps:
1. Writing a renderer for the TIGER/Line vector data from the US Census Bureau with a visualization of features simmilar to Google Maps.
2. Setting up a VMWare Virtual Machine with Linux, a mapserver and the TigerLINE data to make it running out of the box.
You can choose any free map server that supports OGC WMS (e.g. UMN Mapserver, Deegree, ...).
The project has too basic steps:
