I need a Iphone app that allows users to find and redeem deals, or share them within
their social networks.
Product perspective
The product is an application that allows users to share deals on various social networks, through
their cellphones. Computers have all the features, but the ability to access these features in
mobile devices can make this application even more successful.
The product is to be distributed on IPHONE 4. It works with the hardware GPS to enable geo-location of the
handheld device user.
The product competes against other crowd-sourced shopping tools such as Groupon, living
social and Scoutmob.
Product components
Geo location- a service to allow the application to customize the content dependent on the user’s
location, narrowing down the deals according to the merchants/vendors only within a certain
radius of the mobile device
Social voting- a service that allows the user to vote and rate each deal, and each merchant
offering the deal.
Social sharing- a tool to allow the user to share the deal and rating with contacts in his/her social
networks
Redeeming- a feature that allows the user to redeem the deal/coupon at the vendor’s premises.

After doing alot of research online I have found a combination of 2 online design companies who can create this for under $ 700. This includes a pc website, mobile website, admin CMS backend for deals/users/etc. Can you beat this quote?

There are 2 versions of the app. Paid and free. Paid has no ads. Free has ads. So compile one version with ads, and one version with no ads. Pretty simple concept.
